Pumpkin Spice, Actually
Karen burns it in October when the air finally turns cold. Not the artificial pumpkin spice that smells like a candle aisle. Real cinnamon, real clove, the kind that smells like you've been baking all afternoon.
This is soy wax blended with shea butter, coconut oil, and beeswax that melts into massage oil. The kind that works on elbows that crack in fall, heels that need serious help, hands that are dry from raking leaves. People use it when the humidity drops and lotion stops being enough.
It comes in a box with a pour spout. Burns for 8 minutes, then you blow it out and use the warm oil wherever your skin needs it. No dyes. No artificial fragrance. Just plant oils and the scent of actual autumn.
Burn, Test, Use
- Light the candle and let it burn until there's a pool of melted wax—takes about 8 minutes.
- Blow it out. Wait 30 seconds. Test a drop on the inside of your wrist first. Everyone's different—what feels warm to one person might be too hot for another.
- Once you've tested it and it feels right, pour the oil into your hand and massage it wherever your skin needs it.
Works best on damp skin. Use it right after a shower when your pores are open. Or after a bath when you're already relaxed and your skin is soft.
Use within six months of opening. Store away from heat and direct sunlight.
CAUTIONS: Do not burn for more than 8 minutes before use. If burned for more than 8 minutes, the wax and vessel may become too hot for safe skin application. External use only. Discontinue if irritation occurs. Store away from light and heat.
