Pumpkin Spice, Actually
Karen burns it in October when the air finally turns cold. Not the artificial pumpkin spice that smells like a candle aisle. Real cinnamon, real clove, the kind that smells like you've been baking all afternoon.
This is soy wax blended with shea butter, coconut oil, and beeswax that melts into massage oil. The kind that works on elbows that crack in fall, heels that need serious help, hands that are dry from raking leaves. People use it when the humidity drops and lotion stops being enough.
It comes in a box with a pour spout. Burns for 8 minutes, then you blow it out and use the warm oil wherever your skin needs it. No dyes. No artificial fragrance. Just plant oils and the scent of actual autumn.
Burn, Test, Use
- Light the candle and let it burn until there's a pool of melted waxâtakes about 8 minutes.
- Blow it out. Wait 30 seconds. Test a drop on the inside of your wrist first. Everyone's differentâwhat feels warm to one person might be too hot for another.
- Once you've tested it and it feels right, pour the oil into your hand and massage it wherever your skin needs it.
Works best on damp skin. Use it right after a shower when your pores are open. Or after a bath when you're already relaxed and your skin is soft.
Use within six months of opening. Store away from heat and direct sunlight.
CAUTIONS: Do not burn for more than 8 minutes before use. If burned for more than 8 minutes, the wax and vessel may become too hot for safe skin application. External use only. Discontinue if irritation occurs. Store away from light and heat.

Autumn Harvest Massage Candle FAQs
What does the Autumn Harvest Massage Candle smell like?
Real cinnamon and clove essential oils with warm pumpkin pie spices. Not the synthetic pumpkin spice from a mall candle store, and not the sugary coffee shop version. Closer to what your kitchen smells like an hour after the pie comes out of the oven: warm, a little woody, gently sweet. The scent fills the room while it's burning and softens to a quiet skin scent once the oil is on you.
Is the Autumn Harvest Massage Candle only good in fall, or can I use it year-round?
Most people light it from October through March, when the air dries out and regular lotion stops being enough. The scent feels seasonal but the formula doesn't (the shea, coconut, and beeswax blend works on dry skin in any season). If you love the smell of warm spices, there's nothing stopping you from using it in July, though the scent does pair better with cold weather and wool socks.
Will the Autumn Harvest Massage Candle help with cracked elbows, knees, and heels?
This is what it's built for. The wax leans heavy on shea butter and cocoa butter, blended with coconut oil, olive oil, and beeswax. Pouring it warm gets the oil into cracked skin where regular lotion sits on top and rubs off on sleeves and bedsheets. Use it after a shower on damp skin, work it into the worst spots, and give it a few minutes before pulling on socks or sleeves.
Are the warming spices in the Autumn Harvest Massage Candle safe for sensitive skin?
Cinnamon and clove essential oils can occasionally feel warm or tingly on very sensitive skin (this is the nature of those oils rather than a flaw in the formula). Always test a drop on the inside of your wrist first, especially if you've reacted to cinnamon-based products before. If you notice any irritation, discontinue use. For very sensitive skin, the Rose Garden or Peace of Mind massage candle may be a softer choice.
What is a massage candle and how is it different from a regular candle?
A massage candle burns down into warm massage oil rather than just throwing a scent. The wax is soy blended with shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil, beeswax, and cocoa butter (all skin-safe at low temperatures). You light it, let a pool of melted wax form, blow it out, and pour the warm oil into your hand. Regular candles use harder waxes that stay too hot for skin contact.
How do I use a massage candle safely?
Light the candle and let it burn until a pool of melted wax forms (about eight minutes for Rose Garden and Autumn Harvest, ten to twelve for Peace of Mind). Blow it out, wait thirty seconds, and test a drop on the inside of your wrist. Everyone's heat tolerance is different. Once it feels right, pour the warm oil into your hand and massage it wherever your skin needs it. Works best on damp skin, right after a shower or bath.
Is the wax actually safe to put on my skin?
Yes. The wax is a skin-safe blend of soy, shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil, beeswax, and cocoa butter (the kind of oils you'd find in a good body butter). It's formulated to melt at a lower temperature than regular candle wax, so it pours warm rather than hot. Always test a drop on your wrist first, since heat tolerance varies. For external use only. Discontinue if you notice any irritation.
How long does a massage candle last and how should I store it?
Use it within six months of opening. The plant oils and butters that make the wax skin-safe also mean it has a shorter shelf life than a regular candle (where wax is the only ingredient). Store away from direct sunlight and heat, which can change both the texture and the scent. Each 5.6oz candle gives you several months of regular use, depending on how often you light it.
