Natural Self Care
Nothing Your Skin Wouldn't Recognize
The body butter that got left on the bathroom counter because it actually gets used. Not the kind that sits in a basket under the sink for two years looking decorative.

We make everything by hand in our Owings Mills facility—same USDA-standard lab where we jar honey, same people checking every batch. Body scrubs that smell like the ingredients list says they will. Lip balm in plant cellulose tubes because the plastic ones felt wrong. Face oil that works on actual skin, not just the aspirational version.
Some products use formulas we developed but had made at partner labs. The lip tints, for instance. Everything else gets mixed, poured, labeled, and shipped from Maryland. Small batches mean we can smell every formula before it goes out. When something's off, we catch it.
Made in Owings Mills
Body butters, scrubs, soaps, and bath soaks mixed by hand in our Maryland facility. Some lip products use our formulas but are made at partner labs with specialized equipment. We check the texture, test the scent, and adjust batches when needed.
Plant Cellulose Tubes
Lip balm tubes are 100% plastic-free and compostable. People ask about them at farmers markets. They work like regular tubes but break down when you're done with them.
Honey and Beeswax Base
Most products start with honey or beeswax from our hives and partner beekeepers. Honey is a natural humectant—it attracts and holds moisture. Beeswax creates a protective layer without feeling heavy.
Gets Used Daily
Body butter goes on after showers. Scrubs sit on tub edges. Massage candles get lit during actual massages, not just looked at. Products that end up empty instead of decorative.
Body butter is thicker and richer—better for very dry skin or winter months. Body cream (like our Sea+Tea) is lighter and absorbs faster. Both work, just depends on what your skin needs and what texture you prefer.
You don't need to, but it helps. Dead skin cells build up and make moisturizers less effective. Exfoliating once or twice a week removes that layer so your body butter or oil can actually reach live skin. You'll notice the difference.
Yes. We developed the formulas—tested ratios, picked ingredients, decided on textures. Our partner lab manufactures them using our exact specifications and our packaging. We're transparent about this because it matters to people who care about sourcing.
Honey is a natural humectant, meaning it draws moisture from the air into your skin and keeps it there. We use raw honey in most formulas because it maintains these moisturizing properties.
Yes, actually. Our Rose Face Oil uses jojoba, which is structurally similar to skin's natural oils and absorbs well. Start with a few drops and see how your skin responds.
Most products last 6-12 months when stored properly (cool, dry, away from direct sunlight). Products with water (like creams) have a shorter shelf life than oil-based products (like body butters). If something smells off or the texture changes, it's time to replace it.
They do. Light the candle, let it melt for about 15 minutes, blow it out, and pour the warm oil directly onto skin. The wax melts at a low temperature, so it's warm but not hot. Then you can use it for self-massage or have someone else work it into your shoulders, back, wherever hurts.
