What Makes Our Place in the Sun Body Scrub Special?

  • Blueberry seeds and Summer Fruits+Laurel essential oils: Real blueberry seeds add subtle texture alongside the sugar. The essential oil blend reads as sun-ripened fruit and bay — fresh and herbaceous, not candy-sweet or sunscreen-adjacent.
  • Almond oil base: Almond oil absorbs quickly and leaves the skin with a light finish rather than a residue. Combined with sunflower oil, shea butter, and cocoa butter, the formula rinses clean.
  • Built for sun-dried skin: Shoulders, legs, feet, heels — places that take a beating outdoors and dry out by the end of the day. The sugar dissolves as you scrub; the blueberry seeds stay fine enough not to scratch.
  • Pairs with Place in the Sun Body Butter: Use the scrub first on damp skin, rinse with warm water, then apply the body butter while skin is still slightly damp — the oils absorb best then and the summer scent carries through.
  • Hand-poured in Owings Mills: Made in small batches in our Maryland facility, checked for texture and scent strength before it ships.

How to Use: In the shower or bath, scoop a small amount and work into damp skin in circular motions. Focus on rough patches — heels, elbows, knees, shoulders. The sugar dissolves as you scrub; the blueberry seeds rinse clean. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Follow with Place in the Sun Body Butter while skin is still slightly damp. Use within six months of opening and store away from heat and direct sunlight. External use only. Discontinue if irritation occurs.
