Sun On Your Shoulders, Salt In Your Hair
Summer in Maryland means humidity you can see. The kind that makes your hair do things. The kind that turns body lotion into a bad idea by 10am.

The Summer Radiance collection is built for that—Place in the Sun Body Butter that sinks in fast, Body Scrub with blueberry and citrus that doesn't leave you feeling sticky. Candles that smell like honeysuckle and coastal air instead of fake beach coconut.
The honey's different in summer too. Blueberry Blossom from New Jersey. Wildflower from Pennsylvania fields. The lollipops are sweet—honey and cane sugar—so they taste like candy that's actually made from something real. Everything here works when it's 85 degrees and you're already sweating before you get out of the shower.

Set an Intention
Light a Wild Honeysuckle Luxe Soy Candle and brew iced Midnight Berry Tea with a spoonful of Blueberry Blossom Honey. Cold tea counts. Sit with it before you do anything else.
Exfoliate Your Body
Place in the Sun Body Scrub uses honey crystals and blueberry seeds—enough texture to work but not so much that you feel scraped. The blueberry and bay laurel smell like summer without being too much.
Directions: Apply to damp skin in circular motions, working up from your feet. Let it sit for a minute so the oils can do something. Rinse with warm water, towel dry.
Purify Your Face+Body
Calming Dry Mask is a powder you mix yourself—clay, oats, coconut milk. The clay pulls things out. The oats calm everything down. Works on sunburned shoulders if you mix it with cool water.
Directions: Mix 2 parts powder with 1 part liquid. Apply for 10-15 minutes or until dry. Rinse with warm water.
Soak
Peace of Mind Bath Soak is sea salt and lavender buds. The salt softens hard water. The lavender just smells good. People use this after being outside all day when their skin feels tight and weird.
Directions: Add 4-6 tablespoons to warm bath water. Soak for 20 minutes. Rinse with cool water after—it helps.
Hydrate
Place in the Sun Body Butter is lighter than the Rose Garden version—made for people who get sweaty. The blueberry and laurel scent fades to your natural summer scent by the time you're dressed.
Directions: Apply to clean, slightly damp skin. Goes on easier that way. Reapply on elbows, knees, anywhere that feels dry.
Living with Summer
June through August in the Mid-Atlantic is hot and humid and unpredictable. Thunderstorms that come out of nowhere. Sun that makes the steering wheel too hot to touch. Mosquitoes.
This collection's for that—body care that doesn't feel heavy when you're already sticky. Candles you can actually burn when it's 90 degrees because soy wax melts at a lower temperature than paraffin. Tea you can ice. Honey that doesn't crystallize in the heat because it's from blossoms that bloom in summer.
The bees are working overtime. Making honey, raising babies, trying not to swarm when the hive gets too crowded. Summer honey tastes different than spring honey—darker, stronger, from whatever was flowering in the heat.
Summer honey comes from blueberry blossoms in New Jersey, wildflowers in Pennsylvania fields, whatever's blooming in July heat. It's darker and stronger-flavored than spring honey. Blueberry Blossom tastes like blueberries smell—fruity but not overly sweet. Wildflower changes year to year depending on what the bees find.
Yes. It's formulated for people who get sweaty—less thick, absorbs faster, doesn't feel like it's sitting on your skin in humidity. Rose Garden is richer. If you live somewhere hot or exercise a lot, Place in the Sun makes more sense.
The Calming Dry Mask mixed with cool water or aloe can help sunburned shoulders. The body butter and scrub should wait until the burn stops feeling hot—they're oil-based and can trap heat. The Peace of Mind Bath Soak with cool water helps if your whole body feels fried.
The Fun in the Sun Gift Set includes the full ritual. The Petite Summer Radiance Set has four products in smaller sizes. The Summer Soy Candle Gift Set is three candles. All come ready to gift.
We ship year-round with one exception: when weekend temperatures hit extreme highs (typically 90°F+), we pause shipping anything that could melt from Friday (sometimes Thursday) through Monday to prevent melting in transit. Your order ships Monday. We'll never hold it for weeks—just long enough to avoid a puddle in your mailbox.
Place in the Sun smells like blueberries and herbs, not blueberry muffins. The bay laurel keeps it grounded. But if you want zero fruit, try Sea + Tea (coastal herbs and green tea) or Peace of Mind (straight lavender). Both work in summer humidity.
