Bathwater That Smells Right
The first thing people notice isn't the salts. It's the lavender. Not potpourri lavender or dried-flower-store lavender. Fresh lavender from the field—the kind that still smells green and alive when you crush it between your fingers.
What Makes Our Peace of Mind Bath Soak Special?
- Lavender from our Maryland farm: Grown and harvested on our own farm, added to every batch. Not lavender essence, not fragrance — actual buds that float to the top and release their oil slowly as the water warms.
- Dead Sea salt and Epsom salt: Both dissolve fully rather than sitting on the bottom of the tub. Dead Sea salt contains a natural mineral complex; Epsom salt is magnesium sulfate. Together they soften the bathwater noticeably — it goes slippery and warm in a way regular water doesn't.
- Three ingredients total: Dead Sea salt, Epsom salt, lavender buds. You can see everything that's in the bag. No synthetic fragrance, no dyes, no fillers.
- Small batch, Owings Mills: Made in our USDA-standard Maryland facility. Every bag is checked before it ships.
Use 2–6 tablespoons depending on tub size — some people use half a bag for a single deep soak, others measure it out to make it last.
How to Use: Run warm water and add 2–6 tablespoons of salts. Get in while the water is still running. Soak for 20 minutes or longer — the lavender scent stays in the bathroom well after you drain the tub. Rinse with cool water after if desired. Store away from heat, light, and moisture. Use within six months of opening. External use only. Discontinue if irritation occurs.

Peace of Mind Bath Soak FAQs
What does the Peace of Mind Bath Soak smell like?
Fresh lavender from the field, not potpourri lavender or dried-flower-store lavender. Green, alive, slightly sweet underneath, the kind of scent you only get from buds that haven't been sitting in a warehouse for a year. It's softer than commercial lavender, which tends toward medicinal and sharp. The bathroom holds the scent well after the tub drains, which is the part most people remember.
Where does the lavender come from?
Our own Maryland farm. We grow and harvest the buds ourselves, then add them to every batch by hand at our Owings Mills facility. Buds float to the top of the bath as the water warms and release their oil slowly across the soak. This is the difference between farm-fresh lavender and the kind sourced through layers of suppliers: you can smell it the moment you open the bag.
Why are there only three ingredients?
Because that's all this bath soak needs. Dead Sea salt for the mineral content, Epsom salt for the magnesium and the slippery softness it brings to bathwater, lavender buds for the scent and the slow release of oil. No essential oil blend, no synthetic fragrance, no dyes, no fillers. Everything in the bag is visible and accounted for. The simplicity is the point: this is the bath soak you reach for when you want quiet.
How is this different from the Sea+Tea and Rose Garden soaks?
Peace of Mind uses Dead Sea salt instead of Pink Himalayan, and it carries no essential oil blend. The scent comes entirely from the lavender buds we grow on our farm. Sea+Tea is herbaceous and coastal, developed with Cliff House Maine. Rose Garden is rose-and-petal, full and floral. Peace of Mind is the quietest of the three: lavender, salt, water, and the kind of stillness that doesn't need a backstory longer than that.
How do I use a Bee Inspired bath soak?
Run a warm bath and add 2 to 6 tablespoons depending on tub size and how strong you want the scent. Get in while the water is still running so the salts dissolve fully and the botanicals release their oils. Soak for at least 20 minutes. The scent will linger in the bathroom long after you drain the tub. Rinse with cool water after if you like, or skip it and head straight to your body cream.
How many baths does one bag of soak give you?
That depends on how generous you are with the scoop. At 2 tablespoons per bath you'll stretch a bag across many soaks. At 6 tablespoons for a deep tub or a particularly rough day, it goes faster. Most people land somewhere in the middle. Once opened, use within six months for the freshest scent and the brightest botanicals. Store away from heat, light, and moisture between uses.
Are these bath soaks safe for sensitive skin?
The base ingredients are mineral salts and Epsom salt, which most skin tolerates well. The botanicals and essential oils where present can occasionally trigger sensitivity, particularly if you have known reactions to florals or herbs. If you tend to react easily, do a small patch test on the inside of your wrist before a full soak. These are for external use only. Discontinue use if you notice any irritation, redness, or discomfort.
Can I save by buying more than one bath soak?
Yes. Buy three or more soaks and you'll save 15% automatically at checkout. Mix the varieties. Sea+Tea, Rose Garden, and Peace of Mind each offer a different scent, a different ritual, and a different reason to draw a bath. Some people keep all three in rotation through the seasons. Others buy three of the same to gift, since one fits neatly in a stocking, a hostess basket, or a "you've earned this" envelope to a friend.
