Summer CalledāIt Wants Its Tea Back
This tea is basically sunshine in a jar. The kind you brew on Sunday night so itās ready to rescue your week, one glass at a time.
Honeybush lays down the sweet, mellow vibes, while hibiscus shows up with a coral pink pop and just the right amount of pucker. Then comes the fruit parade: papaya, blackberry, strawberry, raspberryāactual fruit pieces, not that fake flavoring nonsense. Itās like a tropical vacation for your taste buds, no passport required.
In February, itās your hot, steamy reminder of what summer tastes like. In July, itās your go-to iced tea, poured over ice and perfect as-isāno sugar, no extras, no fuss. And when someoneās feeling fancy? Itās the secret weapon for mocktails that puts lemonade to shame.
The jar lives on the counter, right next to the coffee maker, because itās not just teaāitās a household essential. Thirsty? Grab it. Making something fun? Grab it. Need a moment of summer in the middle of your day? You know the drill.
Twenty cups per jar, but letās be honestāitās gone faster than you think. Especially if the kids get their hands on it. Better stock up..
Three Ways to Make It
- Hot (When It's Cold Outside): Heat water to 206°F (just before full boil). Add 1 teaspoon loose tea per 8oz water. Steep 5-7 minutes depending on how strong you want it. Strain. Drink as-is or add honey if you want.
- Iced (The Way Most People Do It): Brew hot with double the tea leaves (2 teaspoons per 8oz water). Let steep 7 minutes. Strain into a pitcher. Add ice. Refrigerate. Lasts three days.
- By the Gallon (For When People Are Coming Over): Use 6-8 tablespoons loose tea in a gallon pitcher. Add hot water, steep 7 minutes, strain. Pour over ice or chill overnight. Serve with fresh lemon slices if you want to make it look nice.
- Storage: Keep jar sealed in a cool, dark place. Away from the stove, away from sunlight. Loose tea stays fresh for months but tastes best within six months of opening.
All of our teas are gluten-free, although not all of our teas, botanicals, and other ingredients come from gluten-free certified suppliers.
