The flavors echo each other without doubling up. Blueberry Honey is raw, minimally filtered, with a buttery finish and the floral notes that come from bees working blueberry blossoms. Midnight Berry tea uses hibiscus, currants, rose hips, elderberries, cranberries, and rooibos for a fruit-forward, caffeine-free brew. Stir a spoonful of the honey into a cup of the tea (hot or iced) and the blueberry note ties them together. Both work on their own too. From New Jersey's wild northern high-bush blueberry fields, where migratory beekeepers time their hive placements with precision. Blueberry bushes bloom for only two to three weeks in spring, and that narrow window is the entire opportunity. Beekeepers move their hives in just before the bloom opens, the bees work the small white bell-shaped flowers exclusively, and the hives come out as soon as the bloom closes. Miss the window by a week and the honey simply does not exist that year.

Blueberry Blossom Honey is intensely sweet with a buttery richness and genuine fruity undertones, but the fruitiness comes from the blossom rather than the berry, so it reads more concentrated and less jammy than you might anticipate. Most honey sold as "blueberry honey" is wildflower honey with blueberry flavoring added after the fact. Ours is a true monofloral, made by bees foraging almost exclusively from blueberry blossoms during a two-to-three week spring bloom in New Jersey's wild blueberry fields. No added flavors, no infusions, no shortcuts. The fruity, buttery character in the jar comes entirely from the nectar the bees collected. That's what makes this taste like something specific rather than something generic.

Like sun-warmed fruit and bay leaves, not blueberry candy and not sunscreen. There's no sourness, no chemical aftertaste, just a present, pleasant flavor you actually want to taste while you're wearing it. People reapply more often than they planned to because the flavor doesn't get tiresome, and they end up with softer lips by the end of the day.

Cold-process means we mix the oils with sodium hydroxide at low temperatures and let saponification happen slowly instead of forcing it with heat. The result is a harder bar that lathers without synthetic detergents and keeps the natural glycerin most commercial bars strip out and sell separately. It also lets us blend in working ingredients like coffee grounds, ground oats, or sea salt without melting them. Each bar is hand-cut in our Owings Mills lab and checked before it ships.

The opposite, in most cases. Colloidal oatmeal is one of the longest-running ingredients in dermatology for soothing dry, itchy, or eczema-prone skin. Our oats are milled fine enough to soften completely in the lather, so they're not abrasive. The cold-process soap keeps its natural glycerin, which helps skin retain moisture instead of feeling stripped after a wash. If your eczema is in an active flare, do a small patch test first.
