The Counter Cleanse: For the Face You Love

This isn’t just skincare—it’s a reset for your routine. You know that feeling when you finally clear the clutter off your bathroom counter and keep only the things you actually use? That’s this box. Six plant-derived, bee-inspired products that don’t just sit there looking pretty—they’re the ones you reach for morning and night, no second-guessing.

What Makes Our Best Face Forward Set Special?

  • Vitamin Bee Day Cream (1oz): Apricot kernel oil, cupuacu seed butter, rosehip seed oil, organic glycerin, and phospholipids. Contains vitamins A, B5, C, D, and E. Scented with an essential oil blend.
  • Vitamin Bee Night Cream (1oz): Same base formula as the day cream with the same five vitamins. Richer texture formulated for overnight wear. Scented with an essential oil blend.
  • Lavender Flower Water (2oz): Steam-distilled lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) preserved with aspen bark extract. Use as a toner on a cotton pad or spritz directly on skin.
  • Rose Face Oil (1oz): Camellia seed oil, avocado oil, apricot kernel oil, jojoba seed oil, rosehip seed oil, and Amazonian lily flower extract. Lightweight dry oil.
  • Calming Dry Mask (1oz): Coconut fruit juice powder, kaolin clay, oat kernel meal, lavender flower powder, honey, and bentonite. Mix with water to a paste.
  • Lemon Lip Gloss (0.18oz): Apricot kernel oil, shea butter, beeswax, castor oil, and organic lemon flavor. Natural shine.
  • Reusable box: Sturdy enough to keep after the products are gone — customers use it for jewelry, pens, letters. Not a box that goes straight to recycling.
  • Made in Maryland: Small batches at our Owings Mills facility, checked before they ship.

Six products that earn a permanent spot on the counter, not in the drawer.

How to Use: Morning: splash or tone with lavender flower water, apply day cream, spritz with flower water again, then pat 2–3 drops of rose face oil onto damp skin. Evening: cleanse, apply night cream, tone with flower water, then the face oil again on damp skin. For the weekly mask: mix a teaspoon of powder with equal parts water to a paste, apply to clean skin avoiding the eye area, leave 10–15 minutes, rinse with warm water. Apply lip gloss as needed throughout the day. Store below 75°F and away from direct light.

Best Face Forward Set FAQs

How do I use all six products together in a routine?

Morning: tone with the lavender flower water on a cotton pad or by spritzing directly, apply the day cream, spritz the flower water again, then pat two or three drops of rose face oil onto damp skin. Evening: cleanse first, apply the night cream, tone with flower water, then face oil on damp skin. Use the dry mask once a week. The lemon lip gloss goes on throughout the day. The set covers morning, evening, and weekly skincare without anything missing.

What do the five vitamins in Vitamin Bee® Day Cream actually do?

Vitamins A (retinyl palmitate), B (pantothenic acid), C (ascorbyl palmitate), D (cholecalciferol), and E (tocopheryl acetate) are paired with daytime use because most skin shows its environmental wear in waking hours. Together they support hydration, brightness, and the skin barrier. The formula is built around a base that absorbs rather than sitting on the surface of your face, so the vitamins actually have somewhere to go.

What's the difference between Vitamin Bee® Day Cream and Night Cream?

The Day Cream and Night Cream share the same plant-based base of apricot kernel oil and cupuacu seed butter (Theobroma grandiflorum), so they feel familiar on your skin from one to the other. The vitamin profiles and scents are tuned for time of day. The Night Cream is lavender-scented to settle you toward sleep and adds MSM and DMAE to the A, C, D, and E vitamin complex. Most people use both: morning after washing, evening before bed.

How often should I use a dry clay mask?

Once or twice a week is the sweet spot for most skin. Clay masks pull oil and impurities, and overdoing it can leave skin feeling tight or unbalanced. If your skin is on the sensitive side, start with once a week and see how it feels. If you're using it for a specific concern (a breakout, a dull patch, a Sunday reset before a big week), spot-treat the area instead of doing the whole face every time.

What is a dry mask, and how is it different from a regular face mask?

A dry mask is a powder you mix with liquid right before you use it. No preservatives, because there's no water sitting in the jar for bacteria to grow in. You scoop out what you need, stir it with water (or whatever you like), and use it fresh. Wet masks have to include preservatives and stabilizers to stay shelf-stable. With a dry mask, the formula activates only when you're ready, which keeps the ingredients more potent and the formula simpler.

What is a flower water (hydrosol), and how is it different from an essential oil?

A flower water, also called a hydrosol, is the water produced during steam distillation of plant material. Steam passes through fresh leaves, flowers, or branches, picks up the aromatic compounds, then condenses back into a lightly fragrant water. Essential oil is the concentrated oil that separates out during the same process. A hydrosol is gentler, water-soluble, and meant to spray directly onto skin or hair without dilution. Different product, same plant, same distillation.

What does this Lemon Lip Gloss taste like?

Sweet candied lemon, not sharp lemonade. The lemon 5-fold oil comes through as the sugary, bright side of lemon, closer to lemon meringue than lemon juice. There's no sourness, no chemical aftertaste, just a present, pleasant flavor you actually want to taste while you're wearing it. People reapply more often than they planned to because the flavor doesn't get tiresome, and they end up with softer lips by the end of the day.

Does this gloss have color or just shine?

Just shine. This is a clear gloss, no dye, no pigment, no shimmer. It works over bare lips when you want moisture and a polished finish, over a lip tint when you want both color and gloss, or as a hydrating base before lipstick. The clear formula means it works with any color you wear, any time of year, on any occasion. If you want color, layer it over our Bee Inspired Lip Tints.

What does the rose face oil smell like?

Like actual roses. Real rose essential oil blended with lavender, which keeps the scent from going perfumey or grandmotherly. Think fresh-cut stems rather than rose-scented candle. The lavender adds a quiet, calming note that makes this an easy one to use right before bed. The scent is most present in the first minute after application, then softens into something you only notice if you go looking for it.

What does Rose Garden smell like?

Real roses, not rose perfume. The scent comes from rose, lavender, and geranium essential oils, so it reads as fresh-cut flowers rather than the heavy floral you get from synthetic rose fragrance. Rose carries the main note. Lavender keeps it from going too sweet. Geranium adds a green, slightly herbal depth that real flower bouquets always have. The blend is layered the way an actual garden is layered, which is why it doesn't smell like one note pretending to be a flower.

What does Peace of Mind smell like?

Lavender with a citrus lift. The Bulgarian lavender is the headline, but the citrus keeps it from going sleepy or soapy the way pure lavender often does. The scent is strong for the first hour after applying, especially in a quiet room, then softens into something faint that carries through to morning. It smells like actual lavender flowers, not the synthetic lavender in dryer sheets. People who think they don't like lavender often like this one because the citrus balances it.
