Dark Chocolate

Body butter that smells like chocolate. Not chocolate syrup. Dark chocolate—the kind that's 70% cacao and slightly bitter. Mixed with cocoa butter and honey so it's sweet but not candy-sweet.

It's sweet almond oil, coconut oil, and organic cocoa butter whipped with water and honey. Thicker than the other body butters. Takes longer to melt into skin but sinks in eventually without leaving a greasy film. The chocolate smell sticks around for hours.

People buy this in winter. Some year-round because they like how it smells. The jar sits on the bathroom counter and empties faster than you'd think because people keep going back to smell it.

After Shower

  1. Pat dry after the shower, but leave skin slightly damp.
  2. Scoop out more than you think you need—it's thick. Warm it between your palms until it starts to melt.
  3. Rub it on dry spots first: elbows, knees, heels, hands. Then everywhere else. It takes thirty to sixty seconds to absorb. Rub it in until it's not shiny anymore.
  4. The chocolate smell is strong for the first hour. Then it fades to something you only notice when you lift your arm.

Use within six months of opening. Store away from heat and direct sunlight.
