What shades come in the Natural Trio?
Posie, Blossom, and Petal. Posie is a warm blush nude with shimmer, the color your lips turn after a sip of something cold. Blossom is a glazed light-catcher that reads close to your natural lip color with shine. Petal is a pale plum-pink shimmer, the softest of the three. All three are tinted balms, built on organic beeswax, castor oil, coconut oil, babassu, cocoa butter, and raw honey, with mineral pigments doing the color work. Each tube is 0.15 ounces, lightly vanilla-flavored.
How do you wear or layer the three Natural Trio shades?
One swipe for barely-there color, two for more intensity. Posie and Petal mixed on your fingertip lands somewhere between blush and plum. Blossom layers over either to add shine without changing the base color much. All three sit close to a natural lip tone, so the trio works as everyday wear, under gloss, or as a base for a brighter shade on top. Layer over the Honey Lip Balm if your lips are dry. How does the tint feel on lips?
Like a balm with color. Not the dry, tightening sensation of a stain. Not the heavy, waxy slick of a traditional lipstick. The base is babassu oil, castor oil, coconut oil, and cocoa butter, with beeswax for structure and honey for moisture. It glides on without dragging, sits on your lips like it belongs there, and doesn't settle into the fine lines around your mouth. Lightly vanilla-flavored from organic vanilla, never artificial. People say it makes their lips feel better at the end of the day than at the start.
How long does the color last?
Through a cup of coffee and a meal, generally. The tint fades naturally over the day rather than wearing off in the patchy way that lip stains can. Reapply when you remember, or when you've just eaten something oily. The formula doesn't transfer aggressively to glasses, but it isn't kiss-proof either. If you want longer wear, build the color in two or three layers when you first apply, and keep the tube in your bag for a midday touch-up.
What gives the tint its color?
Mineral pigments. Iron oxides and mica do most of the work, with titanium dioxide for opacity. The shimmer in some shades comes from mica and tin oxide. The Cranberry shade includes Red 7 Lake, an FDA-approved cosmetic colorant, which is what gives it that warm-red depth. None of the shades use coal tar dyes or anything that needs an asterisk on the safety conversation. The pigments are skin-safe and used at cosmetic-grade concentrations.
