Most party favors look nice on the table and then disappear into someone's junk drawer. This one gets noticed. People pick up the muslin bag, feel the weight of the glass jar inside, unscrew the lid, smell the roses, and immediately know this isn't the usual throwaway favor. Then they use it that night before bed and text you two days later asking where you got it.
We started making these for people who wanted their favors to match the effort they put into the event. Small jars of Rose Garden Body Butter—rose, lavender, and geranium essential oils blended with honey, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, and cocoa butter. Each jar comes in a muslin drawstring bag that people keep for years—jewelry during travel, spare buttons, whatever needs a small pouch. A baker's dozen means thirteen jars, so you're covered when your maid of honor brings her sister or your mom invites the neighbor at the last minute.
The body butter absorbs like lotion but feels richer. You can put it on your hands during the event and they'll stay soft through all the handshakes and hugs. The rose scent is floral without being old-fashioned—more fresh-cut flowers than grandmother's perfume. We make it in small batches in Owings Mills with 90% plant-based ingredients. Essential oils, not artificial fragrance. No phthalates, no dyes. Just roses doing what roses do.

Each favor jar holds 1.7oz of body butter, which puts it firmly in real-product territory rather than sample size. That's enough for 3–4 uses on hands, elbows, and dry patches, or roughly a month of occasional use after showers. Guests get a working amount with the scent showing up the way it would in our full-size jar, just in a smaller format made for events.
Each favor is hand-assembled at our Owings Mills, Maryland facility, and production takes 3 to 5 business days before the order ships. For an event with a fixed date on the calendar, build in at least two weeks for production plus ground shipping. Earlier is better during peak wedding season (May through October) and around the December holidays. Made-to-order means every jar leaves us fresh, not sitting in a warehouse for months.
A baker's dozen, named for medieval bakers who threw in an extra loaf to avoid being fined for short-weight bread. Same idea here. You pay for twelve, you get thirteen. The thirteenth is for whoever forgot theirs, the host who put the favors out, the friend who already lost hers before the toasts, or the spare you slip into your own bag. Thirteen is the number that covers a long table, with one to spare.
Real roses, not rose perfume. The scent comes from rose, lavender, and geranium essential oils, so it reads as fresh-cut flowers rather than the heavy floral you get from synthetic rose fragrance. Rose carries the main note. Lavender keeps it from going too sweet. Geranium adds a green, slightly herbal depth that real flower bouquets always have. The blend is layered the way an actual garden is layered, which is why it doesn't smell like one note pretending to be a flower.
Texture and staying power. Lotion is mostly water with a small amount of oil suspended in it, which is why it absorbs in a second and disappears just as fast. Body butter is mostly oils and butters with less water, so it takes a little longer to sink in but keeps skin feeling softer for hours. Ours is whipped to a lighter consistency than most body butters, which is why it absorbs in thirty seconds instead of leaving a heavy film. Use both if you want: butter after the shower, lotion for midday top-offs.
