Sunday Night Reset Lip Scrub
Say goodbye to dry, flaky lips and hello to smooth, kissable softness. When lip balm just sits on top doing nothing, this is the game-changer you need.
Our lip scrub is powered by organic sugar and honey crystals that gently exfoliate away dead skin, stubborn lip stains, and that layer that makes lipstick look patchy. But it doesn’t stop there—shea butter and apricot oil dive deep to nourish and hydrate, leaving your lips feeling brand new.
Unlike other lip products that sneak in drying preservatives or chemicals, this scrub is 100% natural, organic, and anhydrous (no water here!). That means it lasts longer—just keep your hands clean—most important this lip scrub won’t dry out your lips.
What Makes Our Honey Lip Scrub Special?
- Organic cane sugar and honey crystals: Two physical exfoliants at different particle sizes. The honey crystals soften as you massage; the cane sugar does the heavier exfoliating work. Together they remove dead skin and lip stain without tearing.
- Apricot kernel oil, organic shea butter, and beeswax: Apricot kernel oil is lightweight and absorbs readily; shea butter adds body; beeswax gives the formula its structure in the jar. The formula rinses clean — no residue left on lips after washing off.
- No water, no preservatives: Anhydrous formula — 100% oils, butters, and waxes. No preservatives needed. Keep hands clean when scooping and it lasts for months.
- No added fragrance or flavor: The honey scent comes from the honey crystals themselves. No artificial flavor, no synthetic fragrance.
- Nut-free formula: No tree nut ingredients — safe for people with nut allergies.
- Glass jar, not plastic: Recyclable glass packaging. Use it up, wash it out, recycle or repurpose it.
- Small batch, Owings Mills: Made by hand in our Maryland facility, checked for texture and scent before it ships.
Use before the Honey Lip Balm or any of the lip glosses — exfoliating first lets everything that follows absorb better.
How to Use: Start with clean lips and clean hands. Scoop a pea-sized amount and massage in gentle circles for about thirty seconds. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Follow with Honey Lip Balm or lip gloss. You only need a small amount each use — a single jar lasts for months. Use within six months of opening and store away from heat and direct sunlight. External use only. Discontinue if irritation occurs.

Honey Lip Scrub FAQs
What does this lip scrub actually do?
It removes dead skin, dried-on lipstick, and that flaky layer that makes lip color look patchy. The cane sugar handles the heavier exfoliating, and the smaller honey crystals soften as you massage to polish without tearing. Once you rinse off the scrub, lip balm and gloss absorb properly instead of sitting on top of a rough surface. People notice the difference after one use, especially in winter when lips chap and lipstick stops sitting right.
How often should I use it?
A few times a week is usually enough. Lips don't need daily exfoliation, and overdoing it can leave them more sensitive than they started. Use it before applying lip balm or gloss when lips feel rough or look flaky, or before lipstick when you want color to sit cleanly. A pea-sized amount per use means a single jar lasts months. Massage gently for about thirty seconds, rinse with warm water, then follow with a moisturizing layer.
Why is the formula anhydrous, and what does that mean?
Anhydrous means no water in the formula. Just oils, butters, sugar, and beeswax. Without water, bacteria can't grow, so no preservatives are needed. The trade-off is that you have to keep the jar dry. Use clean, dry fingers, don't dip in with wet hands, and avoid getting water inside. Done right, the scrub stays fresh for months without any synthetic preservation. This is the same principle behind most truly natural lip balms and butters.
Is this safe for someone with a tree nut allergy?
Yes. The formula contains no tree nut ingredients. Apricot kernel oil comes from stone fruit rather than from a tree nut, and the rest of the formula skips almond, cashew, walnut, and other common tree nut allergens. It's a safer choice for people who avoid those ingredients in lip products. As with any new product, do a patch test on the inside of your wrist first if you have a severe allergy, since individual sensitivities vary.
Why glass packaging instead of plastic tubes?
Glass keeps oils and butters stable, recycles cleanly, and pairs better with the natural formulas inside. The tin is small enough to slip into a pocket or bag. You apply with a clean fingertip, which uses less product than a wand or stick applicator and keeps the rest of the jar from getting contaminated. When the gloss, balm, or scrub runs out, the glass washes clean and recycles through standard curbside programs. No throwaway plastic, no leftover residue.
How do I apply these lip products?
Dip and swipe with a clean fingertip. Glosses and balms go on directly. For the lip scrub, scoop a small amount, massage gently in circles, then rinse. A little goes a long way across the line, since your body temperature softens the formula on contact. Wash your hands before reapplying if you've been handling food or other surfaces. The anhydrous formulas stay preservative-free as long as nothing introduces water or bacteria into the tin.
How should I store these lip products?
Keep them in your bag, on a counter, in a drawer, anywhere that stays cooler than a hot car or sunny windowsill. Real shea butter, beeswax, and plant oils will melt in high heat, and direct sunlight breaks down the natural ingredients faster than darker storage. If a tin gets warm and the texture shifts, let it cool at room temperature and the formula will firm back up. Use within six months of opening for best texture and scent.
Where are these made?
Hand-poured in small batches at our Owings Mills, Maryland facility. Every batch gets checked for scent, texture, and finish before it ships. The same beeswax that goes into our candles goes into our lip products, and the same honey we jar for tea goes into the formulas that call for it. Nothing here is mass-produced or contracted out. Kara and a small team make every batch on-site.
