Wild Honeysuckle Luxe Soy Candle

Wild Honeysuckle smells like walking past a honeysuckle vine on a warm summer evening — sweet, wild, unmistakably summer. The dominant note is real honeysuckle, joined by jasmine, rose, and lilac to layer the floral profile without any single flower taking over. Lemon and ginger sit at the top to keep things bright, while violet and soft woods at the base give the scent depth and stop it from going too sweet or too simple. It's soft without being powdery, floral without smelling like a soap drawer or sachet.

Year-round, easily. We talk about Wild Honeysuckle as a warm-weather candle because honeysuckle's a summer flower, but the scent profile holds up across all seasons. Lemon and ginger keep it bright in winter; violet and soft woods give it depth for fall. A returning customer told us this is her favorite fragrance "especially in winter," which tracks with what we hear a lot. The longer 75-hour burn makes the Luxe especially well-suited if you want honeysuckle in rotation through January, not just June.

Same scent, different size and vessel. The Jelly Jar is 6oz, $18, and burns about 30 hours in a simple glass jar. Luxe is 10oz, $35, burns about 75 hours, and comes in a smoke-tinted glass tumbler with our custom Bee Inspired emblem — polished enough to stay visible on an entryway table, kitchen counter, or living room shelf.

Our 10oz Luxe candles have about a 75-hour burn time when burned properly. The biggest factor is the first burn — let the wax melt all the way to the edges of the tumbler (about 90 minutes) before blowing it out, or the candle will tunnel and waste a lot of wax. With a clean first burn and proper wick trimming, 75 hours is realistic. Retire the candle when about ½ inch of wax remains in the tumbler.

Three things make the biggest difference. First, trim the cotton wick to ¼ inch before every light — long wicks cause smoke and uneven burning. Second, on your first burn, let the wax pool reach the edges of the tumbler (about 90 minutes) so the candle doesn't tunnel. Third, keep individual burns to 3 hours maximum and let the candle cool completely before moving it. Burn on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts, pets, and anything flammable. Retire the candle when about ½ inch of wax remains.

Reuse it. Once the wax is gone, wash the smoke-tinted glass tumbler with hot soapy water and put it back to work. The tumbler features our custom Bee Inspired emblem and is polished enough to keep visible — customers use them as catchalls for jewelry, makeup brushes, pens, or as small bud vases. The 10oz vessel is bigger and more decorative than our jelly jars, so it tends to find a permanent second life. We're not big on single-use anything, and these are too good to toss.
