Body Care Duo FAQs
Pick by scent first, then by what your skin needs. Peace of Mind has lavender (calming). Place in the Sun has fruity notes (energizing). Sea+Tea uses essential oils only (no fragrance oils). Harvest works well for dry winter skin. All of them exfoliate and moisturize—the difference is mostly in how they smell and feel.
About six to eight weeks with daily use. The 8oz scrub lasts longer than the 7oz butter because you use less scrub per application. If you only use them a few times a week, they'll last two to three months.
Most scrubs are too rough for facial skin. The exception is Sea+Tea Body Scrub, which can be used gently on your face because of its finer texture. The butters and cream are formulated for body only—they're thicker than face creams and might clog pores. Stick to arms, legs, hands, and anywhere else that gets dry.
Yes. Every duo contains either honey, beeswax, or both, which makes them all non-vegan. Most butters contain Bee Inspired Honey. Sea+Tea cream contains beeswax.
Our butters (most duos) are thicker and take longer to absorb—about 30-60 seconds. The cream (Sea+Tea duo only) is lighter and absorbs in 40-60 seconds but still keeps skin moisturized. Butters work better for very dry skin. Cream works better if you don't like heavy textures.
Away from heat and direct sunlight. Don't leave them in a hot car or on a windowsill. They'll last six months after opening if stored properly. The scrub stays stable longer than the butter.
