Place in the Sun smells like earl grey steeped with bergamot, then mixed with grapefruit and strawberries. There's a fizz to it—like champagne bubbles or tonic water over ice. Honey sweetness underneath. Fresh mint at the edges.

People burn it year-round even though we call it seasonal. Turns out summer doesn't have to end if you don't want it to.

Light It and Leave It

Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn. Light it. Let it burn until the wax melts all the way to the edges—usually takes an hour the first time. This prevents tunneling.

Don't burn for more than 1.5 hours at a time. Let it cool before touching or moving it.

Keep it away from anything that could catch fire. Don't leave it burning when you leave the room. Basic candle rules.

When there's about 1/2 inch of wax left, stop burning it. Wash out the jar with hot soapy water. Use it for something else.
