After Dark Soy Candle

Strike a Match

Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting. Let it burn until the wax melts to the edges—about an hour the first time. This keeps it from tunneling down the middle.

Don't burn longer than 1.5 hours at a stretch. Let it cool before moving it.

Keep away from curtains, papers, anything that could catch. Don't leave it burning when you're not in the room.

When there's about 1/2 inch of wax left, you're done. Wash out the jar with hot water and soap. Use it for something else.
