The Tea That Glows as Bright as You Do

This isn’t just tea—it’s a little ritual in a jar. The kind you reach for when you need something warm, something grounding, or just something that feels like a tiny act of self-care.

Turmeric brings the golden glow (and yes, it might leave your mug with a little “character”). Ginger adds a spicy kick that wakes up your taste buds. Pineapple swoops in to keep things bright and balanced, while beet and carrot swirl together into a sunset-orange masterpiece. And those calendula petals? They’re like a sprinkle of flower confetti, because why shouldn’t your tea be as pretty as it is delicious?

What Makes Our Beautea Special?

  • Ginger warms, pineapple softens: The dried pineapple takes the sharpness off the ginger without making it sweet — the result is a cup with real heat and real balance.
  • Visually unlike any other tea: Turmeric, beet, and carrot brew into a deep amber-orange. Calendula petals float on top. It photographs well because it looks that way in real life.
  • Caffeine-free, any time of day: No tea leaves, no caffeine. Just ginger root, turmeric root, dried pineapple, dried beet, dried carrot, calendula petals, and natural flavors.
  • Store best-seller for years: People try it at our Owings Mills shop, go home, and order it online. Then they order it again.
  • Works hot or iced: Brew it light and drink it warm. Brew it double-strength and pour over ice. Both hold up.
  • Add honey if you want: The pineapple and carrot bring natural sweetness, but most people add a spoonful of honey. It pairs well with a lighter varietal — wildflower or orange blossom both work.
  • Mix & Match discount: Buy any 3+ tea jars and save 15%.

Try it once and see why it keeps ending up back in people's kitchens.

Instructions for Brewing: Heat water to 206°F. Use 1 tsp per 8oz, steep 3–7 mins, then strain. Enjoy plain, with honey and lemon, or as golden milk with warm milk and honey. For iced tea, use 2 tsp, steep 7 mins, and refrigerate for up to 3 days.

All of our teas are gluten-free, although not all of our teas, botanicals, and other ingredients come from gluten-free certified suppliers.

Beautea Ginger Turmeric Tea FAQs

What does Beautea taste like?

Warm and bright at the same time. Ginger leads with a real spicy kick that wakes up your taste buds. The dried pineapple softens that sharpness without turning the cup sweet, and turmeric brings an earthy depth underneath. The dried beet and carrot add a subtle natural sweetness and contribute to the deep amber-orange color. Calendula petals are visual, like a sprinkle of flower confetti, and don't change the flavor. Most people find it drinkable plain, though a small drizzle of honey pairs nicely.

Is Beautea caffeinated?

No. Beautea contains no tea leaves. The ingredients are ginger root, turmeric root, dried pineapple, dried beet, dried carrot, calendula petals, and natural flavors. Nothing in the blend contains caffeine, which means you can brew this at any hour of the day. Many people use it as an evening wind-down ritual specifically because the warming spice from the ginger feels grounding without leaving them wired.

Can I make golden milk with Beautea?

Yes, and it's one of the most popular ways people drink it. Brew the tea at standard strength (1 teaspoon per 8oz, steeped 5 to 7 minutes), then warm an equal part of milk or oat milk on the stove and combine. A drizzle of honey rounds it out, and a pinch of black pepper or cinnamon takes it further if you like. The turmeric naturally tints the milk a deeper gold. No special equipment needed.

Will turmeric stain my mug or teapot?

It can, especially with long contact or porous surfaces. Turmeric is a strong natural pigment, the kind used as a dye in cooking. Most ceramic and glass mugs rinse clean if you don't let the tea sit for hours. For light-colored or porous teapots, give them a quick rinse soon after brewing. A baking soda paste lifts most turmeric stains if any do set in. The stains come off. The color in the cup is the upside.

Are your teas gluten-free?

All of our teas are naturally gluten-free. The catch is that not all of our teas, botanicals, and other ingredients come from gluten-free certified suppliers, so we can't make a certified gluten-free claim on the label. For most people that's a non-issue. If you have celiac disease or a severe gluten sensitivity, factor that in before ordering. We'd rather tell you straight than dress it up.

Do you offer a discount on multiple jars of tea?

Yes. Mix and match any 3 or more jars from our tea collection and save 15% at checkout. The discount applies whether you're stocking your own cabinet, splitting jars with a few friends, or putting together a gift set. Our blends are packaged in small batches in Owings Mills, Maryland, and the variety holds up well over time when stored properly. Try a few. They play well together.

How should I store loose leaf tea?

Keep the jar sealed and store it in a cool, dark cabinet away from the stove, the fridge, and anything strongly scented. Tea absorbs odors easily, and light and heat dull the flavor over time. Skip the fridge entirely. Condensation does no favors to dried leaves or flowers. Stored properly in its glass jar, your tea stays fresh and full-flavored for a year or more.

Why loose leaf instead of tea bags?

Tea bags are typically filled with broken leaf and tea dust. Quick to brew, fast to turn bitter, limited in flavor complexity. Loose leaf gives the leaves and ingredients room to unfurl and release their character gradually. You also get to see exactly what's in the jar, whether that's whole flowers, real dried fruit, or full leaves. It's a small change in how you brew. The cup tells the difference.

Are your teas vegan?

Yes. None of our teas contain honey, dairy, or any animal-derived ingredients. Every blend is plant-based: tea leaves, herbs, flowers, dried fruit, and spices. If you add honey from our shop to your cup, that's no longer vegan since honey is an animal product, but the loose leaf tea on its own is. The same goes for milk or cream you might add yourself. The jar is vegan. What you do with it is up to you.
