The Favor Nobody Saw Coming
Most honey party favors lean on wildflower or clover — familiar, reliable, and easy to forget. This one is different. Our blueberry blossom honey comes from Northern New Jersey, where honeybee colonies are brought to highbush blueberry farms specifically to pollinate the crop. Without them, these farms produce roughly a third of the blueberries they’re capable of. The honey is what the bees make along the way — raw and minimally filtered, with a buttery texture and a fruity intensity that comes from the blossoms themselves, not from flavoring or infusion. Each 3 oz jar arrives in a reusable glass jar with a tin lid, tucked into a natural muslin drawstring bag. It is the kind of favor guests take home and actually use.
What Makes Our Blueberry Honey Party Favors Special?
- Pollination-source blueberry blossom honey: Raw and minimally filtered monofloral honey from Northern New Jersey highbush blueberry farms, where honeybee colonies are brought in to pollinate the crop each season. Buttery texture, intensely sweet, with bold fruity undertones that come from the blossoms themselves — not flavoring, not infusion. Rich amber color.
- Reusable glass jar with tin lid: Compact enough for place settings, welcome bags, or a favor display table. The jar is designed to be kept and used long after the honey is gone.
- Natural muslin drawstring bag: Machine-washable natural cotton. Works as a gift pouch, jewelry bag, or small-item organizer after the event.
- $7.50 per favor, 6-favor minimum: Your cart will load with 6 jars automatically — add from there in whatever quantity your guest list requires. No fixed pack size above the minimum.
- Star K Kosher certified, made to order in Maryland: Each favor is assembled at our Owings Mills facility. The honey is Star K Kosher certified.
The cart starts at six jars — add as many as your guest list requires.
How to use: Drizzle over Greek yogurt with fresh berries and granola, spread on blueberry muffins or lemon poppy seed toast, glaze grilled salmon or chicken, or pair with goat cheese and walnuts. The fruity character is concentrated enough to register in finished dishes — this is a honey guests will actually cook with.
Blueberry Honey Party Favor FAQs
What's the minimum order for this Honey Party Favor?
The minimum is 6 favors at $7.50 each ($45 total). There's no maximum, so order the exact quantity your guest list requires. We've shipped sets as small as 6 (intimate dinners, baby showers) and as large as several hundred (weddings, corporate events). The pricing stays $7.50 per favor regardless of quantity. If you need a custom number larger than the order form allows, contact us directly and we'll work it out.
What events are these honey favors a good fit for?
These honey party favors work well for summer parties, farm-to-table dinners, Fourth of July cookouts, berry-themed bridal showers, baby showers, garden parties, and any occasion where you want something guests have genuinely not seen before.
What does each Honey Party Favor include?
Each favor is a 3 oz glass jar of raw, minimally filtered wildflower honey from East Coast beekeepers, with a tin lid, packed inside a 4x6 inch natural muslin drawstring bag. Both the jar and the bag are designed to outlast the event itself: the jar gets reused on the kitchen counter, and the bag becomes a travel pouch, jewelry holder, or herb sachet. No plastic, no filler. Star-K Kosher certified.
How is this different from the Honey Favor Set of 13?
Two main differences: quantity flexibility and honey variety. The Honey Favor Set of 13 comes in a fixed quantity with a curated rotating mix of varietals (so you might receive three or four different honeys across the thirteen jars). The single-favor option lets you order any count from 6 upward, and every jar is the same honey. Choose the set of 13 for variety and a small built-in surplus. Choose the single favor when you need an exact head count and consistent jars (often the right call for weddings).
Can the muslin bags be personalized for a wedding or event?
The bags themselves are designed to invite personalization. They're natural unbleached muslin with a drawstring closure, which means they take a fabric marker beautifully. Hosts have written guest names, dates, monograms, hashtags, table numbers, and short notes directly on the bags. Tied tags also work well if you want a more polished look. The bags are sized 4x6 inches, which is enough space to write something legible without crowding. After the event, they get reused as travel pouches and gift card holders.
How early should I order honey party favors for a wedding or holiday event?
For wedding and holiday-season events, order at least three to four weeks ahead, ideally more. Honey favors sell out quickly around peak wedding season (May through October) and Rosh Hashanah (typically September), and we can't always reorder mid-season since our stock follows the bloom calendar. If you need a custom quantity larger than what's shown, contact us directly. We work with brides and event planners regularly and can usually accommodate larger orders given enough lead time.
What does Blueberry Blossom Honey taste like?
It's not what most people expect. Blueberry Blossom Honey is intensely sweet with a buttery richness and genuine fruity undertones, but the fruitiness comes from the blossom rather than the berry, so it reads more concentrated and less jammy than you might anticipate. There's a smooth finish with a faint tangy note underneath. Most customers taste it straight from the jar first and find it more complex than any honey they've had before. Then they start looking for excuses to use it.
Is the honey Kosher certified?
Yes. Every jar carries Star K Kosher certification.
