The Favor Nobody Saw Coming
Most honey party favors lean on wildflower or clover — familiar, reliable, and easy to forget. This one is different. Our blueberry blossom honey comes from Northern New Jersey, where honeybee colonies are brought to highbush blueberry farms specifically to pollinate the crop. Without them, these farms produce roughly a third of the blueberries they’re capable of. The honey is what the bees make along the way — raw and minimally filtered, with a buttery texture and a fruity intensity that comes from the blossoms themselves, not from flavoring or infusion. Each 3 oz jar arrives in a reusable glass jar with a tin lid, tucked into a natural muslin drawstring bag. It is the kind of favor guests take home and actually use.
What Makes Our Blueberry Honey Party Favors Special?
- Pollination-source blueberry blossom honey: Raw and minimally filtered monofloral honey from Northern New Jersey highbush blueberry farms, where honeybee colonies are brought in to pollinate the crop each season. Buttery texture, intensely sweet, with bold fruity undertones that come from the blossoms themselves — not flavoring, not infusion. Rich amber color.
- Reusable glass jar with tin lid: Compact enough for place settings, welcome bags, or a favor display table. The jar is designed to be kept and used long after the honey is gone.
- Natural muslin drawstring bag: Machine-washable natural cotton. Works as a gift pouch, jewelry bag, or small-item organizer after the event.
- $7.50 per favor, 6-favor minimum: Your cart will load with 6 jars automatically — add from there in whatever quantity your guest list requires. No fixed pack size above the minimum.
- Star K Kosher certified, made to order in Maryland: Each favor is assembled at our Owings Mills facility. The honey is Star K Kosher certified.
The cart starts at six jars — add as many as your guest list requires.
How to use: Drizzle over Greek yogurt with fresh berries and granola, spread on blueberry muffins or lemon poppy seed toast, glaze grilled salmon or chicken, or pair with goat cheese and walnuts. The fruity character is concentrated enough to register in finished dishes — this is a honey guests will actually cook with.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is blueberry blossom honey?
Blueberry blossom honey is a monofloral honey made by bees that forage primarily on blueberry blossoms during bloom. Our blueberry blossom honey comes from Northern New Jersey, where honeybee colonies are brought to highbush blueberry farms each season to pollinate the crop. The honey the bees produce during that bloom is raw and minimally filtered, with a buttery texture, rich amber color, and fruity undertones that come entirely from the blossoms — no flavoring, no infusion.
How many favors do I need to order?
The minimum order is 6 favors ($45). Your cart will load with 6 jars automatically — from there, add however many you need. There is no fixed pack size above the minimum. We recommend ordering a few extras to account for last-minute additions to your guest list.
Can the label be personalized with our names or event date?
At this time, our blueberry honey party favors are not available with custom labeling. Each favor ships with our standard Bee Inspired label.
How far in advance should I place my order?
These favors are made to order at our Owings Mills facility and typically ship within 3 business days. We recommend placing your order at least two weeks before your event to allow time for assembly, shipping, and any unexpected delays. For very large orders, reach out before ordering to confirm availability.
What are the shipping and pickup options?
We offer flat rate shipping for $9, or you can arrange pickup at our Honey House in Owings Mills, Maryland. Select your preference at checkout.
What events are these favors a good fit for?
These honey party favors work well for summer parties, farm-to-table dinners, Fourth of July cookouts, berry-themed bridal showers, baby showers, garden parties, and any occasion where you want something guests have genuinely not seen before. The blueberry blossom variety is uncommon enough that it tends to be a conversation piece.
Does raw honey need to be refrigerated?
No. Raw honey should be stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat. Refrigeration is not necessary and is not recommended — cold temperatures can accelerate crystallization. Stored properly in a sealed jar, honey has an indefinite shelf life.
Will the honey crystallize?
Raw honey naturally crystallizes over time — it is a sign the honey is real and unprocessed, not a defect. If your honey crystallizes, set the jar in a bowl of warm (not hot) water for a few minutes and stir gently. It will return to a liquid state.
