When the Weather Turns

Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting. Let it burn until the wax melts to the edges—about an hour the first time. Keeps it from tunneling down the center.

Don't burn longer than 1.5 hours at once. Let it cool completely before moving it.

Keep away from dish towels, napkins, anything that could catch. Don't leave it burning when you're not home.

When there's about 1/2 inch of wax left at the bottom, you're finished. Wash the jar out with hot soapy water. Use it for something else.
