Petite Winter Respite Set

Smaller than our full-size products, but generously sized for a four-product summer routine. The 2oz body scrub gives you about a week of regular use, the 1.7oz body butter covers a similar window, the 1.8oz bath soak is enough for about three baths at three tablespoons each, and the 1oz dry mask powder makes about six masks. Herbal and coastal, not floral and not sweet. The essential oil blend, developed with the spa director at Cliff House Maine, is yarrow, lavender, bergamot, and rosemary. Together they read green and clean, like a garden near the water rather than a perfume counter. The bergamot keeps it bright, the rosemary grounds it, the lavender softens the edges. The scent carries through rinsing and stays faintly on skin afterward.

Water works perfectly. Plenty of people get more creative: green tea, almond milk, carrot juice, plain Greek yogurt, even raw honey. The ratio stays the same. Two parts mask powder to one part liquid, stirred until it's thick like yogurt or frosting. Mix fresh each time, since once it's wet, it's wet. Different liquids add their own properties (yogurt is more soothing, green tea is antioxidant-rich), so feel free to experiment with what your skin responds to.

Once or twice a week is the sweet spot for most skin. Clay masks pull oil and impurities, and overdoing it can leave skin feeling tight or unbalanced. If your skin is on the sensitive side, start with once a week and see how it feels. If you're using it for a specific concern (a breakout, a dull patch, a Sunday reset before a big week), spot-treat the area instead of doing the whole face every time.

Sea+Tea is built around mineral-rich ingredients that suit winter skin: sea clay, kelp powder, green tea extract, and cupuacu seed butter, which holds moisture longer than shea or coconut alone. Sea+Tea is its own formula, not a seasonal repackage. The "Winter Respite" framing reflects when most people reach for it, but the products work year-round on rough or dehydrated skin.

Each clay does a slightly different job. Moroccan lava clay (also called rhassoul) absorbs oil and excess sebum and is gentle enough to use frequently. Kaolin clay is mild and good for general cleansing. Montmorillonite (bentonite) draws out impurities through ion exchange. Together, the three clays clean more thoroughly than any single one would, while staying flexible on the skin instead of cracking as they dry. Different particle sizes, different absorption rates, working in layers.

The formula is built to clean without stripping, and customers with sensitive skin have used it comfortably, but skin is personal, so we always recommend a patch test first. There's no synthetic fragrance, no dye, and no preservatives. Green tea leaf extract is naturally calming, and the three clays are formulated to clean without leaving skin tight. If you're brand new to clay masks or have very reactive skin, the Calming Mask may be a softer entry point, with the Clarity Mask falling between the two.
