Haute Cocoa® smells like bittersweet chocolate—the kind you break off a bar, not the Halloween candy kind. There's cream in there. Roasted nuts. The edge of burnt sugar from fudge that sat in the pan too long. It's rich without being sticky-sweet.

Set It and Forget It (Almost)

Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting. Let it burn until the wax melts all the way to the edges—about an hour the first time. Stops tunneling.

Don't burn longer than 1.5 hours at once. Let it cool completely before moving it.

Keep it away from papers, curtains, anything flammable. Don't leave it burning when you leave the room.

When there's about 1/2 inch of wax left at the bottom, stop burning it. Wash the jar out with hot soapy water. Use it for something else.
