Peace of Mind Body Butter Party Favor

Each favor is hand-assembled at our Owings Mills, Maryland facility, and production takes 3 to 5 business days before the order ships. For an event with a fixed date on the calendar, build in at least two weeks for production plus ground shipping. Earlier is better during peak wedding season (May through October) and around the December holidays. Made-to-order means every jar leaves us fresh, not sitting in a warehouse for months.

The minimum is 6 favors at $12 each ($72 total). There's no maximum and no fixed pack size, so order the exact quantity your guest list calls for, whether that's 6 for an intimate dinner or several hundred for a wedding. The price stays $12 per favor regardless of quantity. We recommend a few extras to cover last-minute additions, the favor that gets misplaced before dinner, and the guest who quietly takes a second one home for her sister.

Lavender with a citrus lift. The Bulgarian lavender is the headline, but the citrus keeps it from going sleepy or soapy the way pure lavender often does. The scent is strong for the first hour after applying, especially in a quiet room, then softens into something faint that carries through to morning. It smells like actual lavender flowers, not the synthetic lavender in dryer sheets. People who think they don't like lavender often like this one because the citrus balances it.

Both make sense as bedtime body butters, but they smell completely different. Rose Garden is rose-led with lavender as a supporting note, so it reads as floral first. Peace of Mind is lavender-led with citrus as the lift, so it reads as calm and a little bright at once. Rose Garden is also thicker because of higher beeswax content. It takes longer to absorb. Peace of Mind is medium-weight and absorbs in about thirty seconds. If rose is the draw, choose Rose Garden. If lavender is the draw, this is it.

Texture and staying power. Lotion is mostly water with a small amount of oil suspended in it, which is why it absorbs in a second and disappears just as fast. Body butter is mostly oils and butters with less water, so it takes a little longer to sink in but keeps skin feeling softer for hours. Ours is whipped to a lighter consistency than most body butters, which is why it absorbs in thirty seconds instead of leaving a heavy film. Use both if you want: butter after the shower, lotion for midday top-offs.

Apply right after showering while your skin is still slightly damp. Scoop a small amount, warm it between your palms until it softens, then work it into skin in circular motions. The damp-skin step matters because warm, slightly wet skin lets the oils absorb faster and locks in more moisture. Concentrate on rough spots like heels, elbows, and knees. The whole thing should sink in within twenty to sixty seconds depending on the formula. If your skin still looks shiny after a minute, you used too much.

Not the way these are formulated. The texture is dense in the jar but built to melt on contact with warm skin and absorb in twenty to thirty seconds. You can apply, get dressed, and not transfer butter onto your shirt. The trick is using less than you think you need. A quarter-sized scoop covers arms or legs. If your skin still looks shiny after a minute, scale back next time. Most people find one jar lasts longer than expected once they get the amount right.

Keep the jar away from direct sunlight and heat. A bathroom shelf is fine; a sunny windowsill is not. Once you open a jar, use it within six months for best texture and scent. Body butters can soften in summer heat and firm up when it's cold. Both are normal. If yours melts in a hot car, let it set back up at room temperature and stir if needed. The formula is still good, just briefly less photogenic.

Each favor jar holds 1.7oz of body butter, which puts it firmly in real-product territory rather than sample size. That's enough for 3–4 uses on hands, elbows, and dry patches, or roughly a month of occasional use after showers. Guests get a working amount with the scent showing up the way it would in our full-size jar, just in a smaller format made for events.
