The Favor That Feels Expensive
This favor belongs at weddings, bridal showers, anniversaries, Galentine's parties, and garden celebrations — anywhere roses make sense and the details matter.
What Makes Our Rose Garden Body Butter Party Favors Special?
- Rose Garden Body Butter (1.7oz): Sweet almond oil, coconut oil, organic cocoa butter, beeswax, and Bee Inspired honey. Rose, lavender, and geranium essential oils. Slightly thicker than our other body butter favors because of the beeswax.
- Muslin drawstring bag (4x6"): Natural cotton. Machine washable. People keep them for years — jewelry, coins, whatever needs a small pouch.
- $12 per favor, 6-favor minimum: Order as many as you need — no fixed pack size. Minimum order of 6 favors ($72).
- No assembly required: Each jar arrives in its bag, ready to set out at place settings or drop in a welcome bag.
- Made in Maryland: Small batches at our Owings Mills facility. Essential oils, not synthetic fragrance.
Rose Garden body butter in a muslin drawstring bag — rose, lavender, and geranium essential oils in a formula with beeswax, cocoa butter, and honey that feels more considered than it costs.
How to Use: Apply after a shower on slightly damp skin — the beeswax makes this formula a little richer than standard body butter, so it takes slightly longer to absorb. The rose, lavender, and geranium scent smells like fresh-cut flowers, not powdery florals. Keep the muslin bag for jewelry or small essentials after the jar is empty.
Rose Garden Body Butter Party Favor FAQs
What's the minimum order for Body Butter Party Favors?
The minimum is 6 favors at $12 each ($72 total). There's no maximum and no fixed pack size, so order the exact quantity your guest list calls for, whether that's 6 for an intimate dinner or several hundred for a wedding. The price stays $12 per favor regardless of quantity. We recommend a few extras to cover last-minute additions, the favor that gets misplaced before dinner, and the guest who quietly takes a second one home for her sister.
How far in advance should I order body butter party favors?
Each favor is hand-assembled at our Owings Mills, Maryland facility, and production takes 3 to 5 business days before the order ships. For an event with a fixed date on the calendar, build in at least two weeks for production plus ground shipping. Earlier is better during peak wedding season (May through October) and around the December holidays. Made-to-order means every jar leaves us fresh, not sitting in a warehouse for months.
How much body butter is in each favor, and is it enough for guests to actually use?
Each favor jar holds 1.7oz of body butter, which puts it firmly in real-product territory rather than sample size. That's enough for 3–4 uses on hands, elbows, and dry patches, or roughly a month of occasional use after showers. Guests get a working amount with the scent showing up the way it would in our full-size jar, just in a smaller format made for events.
What does Rose Garden smell like?
Real roses, not rose perfume. The scent comes from rose, lavender, and geranium essential oils, so it reads as fresh-cut flowers rather than the heavy floral you get from synthetic rose fragrance. Rose carries the main note. Lavender keeps it from going too sweet. Geranium adds a green, slightly herbal depth that real flower bouquets always have. The blend is layered the way an actual garden is layered, which is why it doesn't smell like one note pretending to be a flower.
Is Rose Garden better as a daytime or bedtime body butter?
Either, and plenty of people use it for both. The rose and geranium read brighter in the morning, especially with coffee. The lavender comes through more at night and pairs with the slower wind-down of getting ready for bed. The slightly heavier texture also makes it feel more like an evening ritual, since the longer absorption time matters less when you're not rushing to get dressed. If you're choosing one slot, bedtime suits this formula well. If you love rose, you'll wear it whenever.
How is body butter different from regular lotion?
Texture and staying power. Lotion is mostly water with a small amount of oil suspended in it, which is why it absorbs in a second and disappears just as fast. Body butter is mostly oils and butters with less water, so it takes a little longer to sink in but keeps skin feeling softer for hours. Ours is whipped to a lighter consistency than most body butters, which is why it absorbs in thirty seconds instead of leaving a heavy film. Use both if you want: butter after the shower, lotion for midday top-offs.
How do you apply body butter for best results?
Apply right after showering while your skin is still slightly damp. Scoop a small amount, warm it between your palms until it softens, then work it into skin in circular motions. The damp-skin step matters because warm, slightly wet skin lets the oils absorb faster and locks in more moisture. Concentrate on rough spots like heels, elbows, and knees. The whole thing should sink in within twenty to sixty seconds depending on the formula. If your skin still looks shiny after a minute, you used too much.
Will body butter leave my skin feeling greasy?
Not the way these are formulated. The texture is dense in the jar but built to melt on contact with warm skin and absorb in twenty to thirty seconds. You can apply, get dressed, and not transfer butter onto your shirt. The trick is using less than you think you need. A quarter-sized scoop covers arms or legs. If your skin still looks shiny after a minute, scale back next time. Most people find one jar lasts longer than expected once they get the amount right.
How should I store body butter and how long does it last?
Keep the jar away from direct sunlight and heat. A bathroom shelf is fine; a sunny windowsill is not. Once you open a jar, use it within six months for best texture and scent. Body butters can soften in summer heat and firm up when it's cold. Both are normal. If yours melts in a hot car, let it set back up at room temperature and stir if needed. The formula is still good, just briefly less photogenic.
