Issue 13 - April 2024

April brings seasonal awakening, warmer weather, and anticipation of the joys of nature.

A part of April that has been very important to me since I was a kid is Earth Day – on April 22. This year, the theme is Planet vs. Plastics.

EARTHDAY.org is demanding a 60% reduction in the production of ALL plastics by 2040 and seeking as many voices as possible to join in. In the forefront of their effort is the reduction of single use plastics.

Billions upon billions of items of plastic waste choke our oceans, lakes, and rivers and pile up on land. Plastic pollution is very real and single-use plastics have a large impact.

At Bee Inspired, we have been buzzing with our own efforts to minimize plastics in honor of the Earth and all her inhabitants.

We are grateful to be part of the solution, product by product. Years in development and working with multiple partners, we are excited to offer you our Plastic-free Lip Balm and our latest Lip Tints in casing that is 30% less plastic than common lip balm tubes. This is something that I am very proud of!

As you move through April, pause to enjoy the sun on your face, the scent of spring flowers, perhaps the buzzing of bees going about their mission, and notice opportunities to reduce your own use of plastics – especially single-use.

We invite you to embrace Bee Inspired Lip Balm this spring and watch for the release of our exciting new collection of Lip Tints – creamy, lightly scented with vanilla, in six pleasing shades from natural to noticeable.
