Issue 4 - July 2023

Happy July! I was able to get honey pulled and harvested in time to take July 4th off to be with my beautiful family. I may be biased, but I think this is our cutest model 👶
Our newest team member also joined me out on the farm. I am always so delighted seeing people’s first time in an apiary.
There are few things that bring me so much joy!
After a few weeks of dangerously dry weather, we saw more rain in the last week than we needed. I look forward to seeing some amazing blossoms appear this next week. Interesting to note is this second honey harvest from our spring reserve is a bit more amber than the first harvest.
The colors of honey always fascinate me. The early spring blossoms are almost clear in color, or the batch skews yellow. We then shift into amber in this harvest. I would bet this has to do with the sunflower coming in. In autumn the color gets darker, the flavor a little richer.
I recently updated our subscription feature on the site to include a 15% discount. Did you know our delivery schedule is customizable? Every 45 days, every 90 days, or every 120 days.
The other day one of our customers called for some tech support. After I figured out the mistake that was causing the issue, I took a look at her order history.
This was her 43rd order! I was amazed and overjoyed. Out of curiosity, I started poking around in analytics only to realize that we have over 700 customers who have ordered from us at a healthy pace.
Thank you for your continued support.
