Tea for Two (and Honey for You)

A song stuck in your head, stacked into a box. The set takes its name from the old tune (tea for two, and two for tea, and me for you, and you for me) and pairs two of our teas with three rotating raw honey varietals. Bee's Knees honeybush brews caffeine-free and naturally sweet, no honey required unless you want it. Raven Earl Grey with lavender wants a spoonful stirred in. The three honeys rotate with whatever the bees brought home that season, so the pairing changes depending on when you order. The sweetness doesn't.

What Makes Our Tea for Two Tower Special?

  • Two Distinct Teas: Bee's Knees is a South African honeybush blend — naturally sweet, caffeine-free, with mild nutty notes that pair cleanly with lighter honeys. Raven is an organic black tea with lavender and bergamot, full-bodied enough to hold its own against a darker, more complex varietal. Both are loose-leaf and blended in small batches in the USA.
  • Three Rotating Honey Varietals: The honey selection changes based on current stock and what's harvesting well. Each set includes one light, one medium, and one dark varietal — each raw and minimally filtered, each with a distinct flavor profile shaped by the flowers the bees worked. Star K Kosher certified.
  • A Wooden Honey Dipper: Included in every tower. Fits any mug, releases honey evenly into a hot cup, and holds up long after the honeys are gone.
  • Stackable Tower Packaging: The cylindrical tower keeps everything together for gifting and stores easily on a counter or shelf after opening. No excess packaging — the container is reusable.
  • From Bee Inspired's Own Apiary and Trusted Beekeepers: Bee Inspired maintains its own hives at Chesterhaven Beach Farm on Maryland's Eastern Shore and works with a network of small American beekeepers for additional varietals. The honey in this tower comes from that same sourcing network.

Order one for a tea lover who hasn't tried pairing honey by varietal, or keep it for an afternoon that deserves a little attention.

Tea for Two Tower FAQs

How does the rotating honey selection work?

The three honeys change with the harvest and current stock. Each tower includes one light, one medium, and one dark varietal, but the specific varietals vary depending on what's at peak quality when your order ships. That might mean Orange Blossom, Wildflower, and Blackberry one month, or Tupelo, Coffee Blossom, and Sourwood another. The rotation reflects what the bees actually produced rather than a fixed inventory plan, which is part of why people order the tower more than once.

What does Raven Earl Grey taste like?

Classic Earl Grey with a softer landing. The organic black tea base is bold and full-bodied. Natural bergamot oil brings the bright, citrusy floral note that defines Earl Grey. The twist is the organic lavender, which comes in at the end of the sip as a finishing note, not the lead. Together the cup tastes like Earl Grey with a quiet, slightly poetic ending. Three ingredients, no artificial flavors, no dyes, nothing added for shelf appeal.

How much caffeine is in Raven Earl Grey?

A moderate amount, roughly half of what you'd find in a comparable serving of coffee. The caffeine comes naturally from the organic black tea base. Steep time and water temperature both affect how much gets extracted. A shorter steep at a slightly lower temperature pulls less. Three minutes at 180°F gives you a lighter cup. Five minutes at 185°F pulls more. Either way, enough to be useful in the morning.

What is honeybush tea and what does it taste like?

Honeybush is a caffeine-free herbal tea made from the Cyclopia plant, which grows in the mountainous fynbos regions of South Africa's Western Cape. The name comes from the plant's bright yellow flowers, which smell honey-like when they bloom. The cup brews golden, with notes of caramel, molasses, and a hint of toasted nuttiness. It's naturally sweet without sugar or honey added, and low in tannins, so it doesn't go bitter even if you steep it long.

Does Bee's Knees Tea contain caffeine?

No. Honeybush is naturally caffeine-free at the plant level. This isn't a decaffeination process. The Cyclopia plant simply doesn't produce caffeine, the way rooibos doesn't either. Bee's Knees can be brewed at any time of day without affecting sleep, jitters, or anything else caffeine-related. It's a popular evening choice for people who miss the ritual of a hot drink after dinner but want to be asleep by 10.

Is the honey Kosher certified?

Yes. Every jar carries Star K Kosher certification.
