I saw a version of this Sweet Spicy Salmon with Honey recipe on Facebook and had to try it out. This salmon is full of flavor, easy to make, and is now officially one of my favorite salmon preparations ever. Big thanks to Creme de la Crumb, you were an incredible inspiration.
Adapting Sweet Spicy Salmon:
You know, a recipe is not truly perfect until you’ve added your own touch to it. That’s why we encourage you to play with your food. Let your inner chef come out and play and change up this recipe. You really can’t mess this up. Have fun! Here’s some ideas:
- Pick your favorite protein: swap out salmon with chicken breast, or try a different kind of fish
- Lay a bed of sturdy seasonal fresh produce, bell pepper, carrots, radish to the dish, under the salmon before roasting
- Steam a head of cabbage and serve the salmon on steamed cabbage leaves, accompany with a side dish of wild rice
