Whenever I get stuck in a cooking rut, I turn to fresh salads to open up my culinary imagination. Recently, that exploration has taken the form of spinach fruit salad, which throws together some classic ingredients in unexpected ways! I had never imagined combining sweet flavors with savory spinach before this attempt, but I was pleasantly surprised by how deliciously they complemented each other. In this blog post, you'll discover why this unique dish stands out from the rest and how easy it is to master yourself! Whether you're a vegan foodie or just looking for something new and tasty to try––this one's for you. This spinach fruit salad may be something you haven't thought of making. It's prepared and finished with our amazing honey vinaigrette dressing. It takes only a few minutes to put this delicious salad together.
We used our Wildflower Honey for the dressing, and it was delicious! Next time, we are definitely trying out Mixed Berry.
Spinach and fruit go together like peas and carrots. While they are available in our grocery stores year-round, when we can find the very most fresh produce at our local farmers market, they taste so much better. Knowing where your food came from, and meeting your farmer in person, makes it all taste better.
