How to Make Gluten-Free Bran Muffins
It’s easy to make these gluten-free bran muffins. Here are the steps:

Gather together your ingredients. Then preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Either grease or line your muffin tin for nine muffins. My preference is a silicone muffin pan.

Sift the first six ingredients, including baking powder and baking soda, into a mixing bowl.

In separate bowls, blend eggs, maple syrup, vanilla, butter/oil, brown sugar, and coconut sugar, then add to the dry ingredients.

Almond milk can be used as a substitute for buttermilk by mixing half unsweetened nondairy milk and half nondairy plain yogurt.

Add banana, dates, flax, bran, gluten free flour, and walnuts, and fill muffin cups till almost full.

Bake for 20 minutes. The muffin will be firm and golden.
Standard bran flakes are not gluten-free because they’re made from whole wheat. However, rice bran recipes abound and can add necessary fiber to a gluten-free diet.
You could also ask if raisin bran is gluten-free. The answer is no; raisin bran is not gluten-free because the bran source comes from wheat.
The good news is that I’m sharing a substitute for wheat bran. Rice bran is a good bran substitute.
