Honey and Oatmeal Scrub

If you're familiar with the blog, you likely remember that we already explored why oatmeal is as good for your skin as it is for your heart. The omega-3 fatty acids, folate, potassium, and fiber are most noteworthy. Superfood oats can lower bad cholesterol levels and help keep arteries clear in support of healthy heart function.

On the skin, an oatmeal scrub functions as a protectant, and an oatmeal bath will shield the skin from irritants while it soothes dehydrated, itchy, and inflamed skin. Oats also brighten the skin. If you have brown spots, keep after them with oat treatments like this one!

Try this oatmeal and honey scrub knowing that you are doing something good for your body and taking good care of yourself. It's made of all-natural ingredients that don’t threaten your health or well-being. If you prefer the oils you use, feel free to add them to it. You can’t make this honey oat scrub incorrectly.

This scrub is suitable for the face and body. Oat is an incredible lightener and brightener to the skin and also boast soothing properties. If you ever get poison ivy, they are very helpful in treating the infected areas.

Our oatmeal bath contains milk also, which supports soothing the skin even further.

What are the Beauty Benefits of Oatmeal?

Oatmeal provides numerous beauty benefits for the skin. It gently exfoliates, soothes dry and itchy skin, moisturizes, calms sensitive skin, controls oiliness, has anti-aging properties, and brightens and evens out the skin tone.

Oatmeal's natural properties make it suitable for various skin conditions, and it can be incorporated into homemade masks or the like, just like this honey oatmeal face scrub!

Why Should I Use an Oatmeal and Honey Scrub on my Body?

Combining oatmeal and honey provides at least five key benefits for the body. It offers gentle exfoliation, hydration, and moisture retention, soothes and calms the skin, aids in skin rejuvenation, and improves skin tone and texture.

Oatmeal exfoliates and promotes cell regeneration, while honey moisturizes, fights inflammation, and enhances the skin's appearance. Using a homemade honey and oatmeal body scrub or mask with these ingredients can help achieve smoother, nourished, and rejuvenated skin.

How Should I Store This Honey and Oatmeal Body Scrub?

This honey and oatmeal body scrub recipe is designed to be mixed and used immediately. You can also use it as a honey and oatmeal face scrub.

It does not have a shelf life. DO NOT STORE unless you refrigerate the mixture for a day or two at the very most. Use all that you have when mixing this recipe if you can.
