Real Honey, Real Tradition

Honey that meets kosher certification because it matters to the people it matters to. Not a marketing label—actual rabbinical oversight. Star K for all our raw honey. OU for our lollipops. The entire production process follows strict standards, from how the bees were managed to the equipment in our Owings Mills facility.

Read

We bottle honey from beekeepers across the United States. Tupelo from Florida swamps where the trees bloom for three weeks each spring. Sourwood from North Georgia highlands in July. Blueberry from New Jersey. Coffee Blossom from Guatemala. Ukrainian Sunflower. Each product page lists exactly where that honey came from—not just the varietal name, but the actual region.

The honey stays raw and minimally filtered. Pollen and enzymes stay in. This is why it crystallizes naturally and tastes like the actual flowers the bees visited—not like processed grocery store honey that gets heat-treated to stay liquid for years. Lighter varieties taste sweeter. Darker varieties taste more like the blossoms.

    Certified Because It Matters

Star K certified for all raw honey. OU certified for lollipops (except Chocolate Dipped, which cannot be certified kosher). Not something we added for shelf appeal—actual rabbinical certification for people who keep kosher homes and those seeking verified ingredient transparency.

    Varietal Means Something

Tupelo tastes different than Buckwheat tastes different than Spring honey. That's not flavoring—that's what happens when bees visit different flowers. Each product page details where that specific honey originated. Orange Blossom means Florida citrus groves. Coffee Blossom means Guatemalan plantations.

    Raw, Not Processed

We don't heat-treat or ultra-filter. The pollen stays in, the enzymes stay in, the natural characteristics stay in. This is why our honey crystallizes (which is normal for real honey) and why it actually tastes like something instead of just being sweet.

    Gift Sets for Tradition

The Honey Royale Gift Set features Tupelo, Spring, and Sourwood—three distinct flavor profiles in one box. The Honey Tasting Tower lets you compare five varietals side by side. Honey Party Favors come ready for events. Each set pairs varieties that make sense together for tasting or celebrating.

    Small-Batch Bottling

Everything gets packaged by hand in recyclable glass at our Owings Mills facility. Small batches mean we actually look at what we're bottling. Woman-owned, Maryland-made, supporting American beekeepers from Florida to New York.

    Kosher Honey FAQs

All our raw honey is Star K certified kosher. Our honey lollipops are OU certified kosher, with one exception—Chocolate Dipped Honey Lollipops cannot be certified kosher. This certification covers the entire production process—equipment, ingredients, manufacturing.

Star K inspects how the bees were managed, verifies they gathered from kosher flower sources, and assesses our equipment and manufacturing process. The certification ensures no non-kosher ingredients or contaminants, which matters to people who keep kosher homes and those looking for verified ingredient transparency.

Wildflower works well for dipping apples—traditional and reliably sweet. Tupelo brings something special if you're serving guests. Spring honey balances sweetness with flavor complexity for honey cake. Orange Blossom is lighter and fruity. If you're not sure, the Honey Tasting Tower lets you try five varietals.

Because it's raw and real. Crystallization is natural for pure honey—it means we didn't heat-treat or ultra-filter it. You can gently warm crystallized honey to return it to liquid form without affecting quality. Tupelo is one of the few varieties that resists crystallization due to its unique fructose-to-glucose ratio.

Each varietal comes from bees primarily visiting one type of plant. Check individual product pages for sourcing details. Tupelo grows in specific Florida swamps with short bloom windows—it's rare and buttery-smooth. Sourwood only blooms three weeks in July in Appalachian highlands—burnt caramel notes. The flowers dictate the flavor, and harvest location affects availability.

Yes. OU certified kosher (except Chocolate Dipped variety), made with real honey. The flavored varieties (Lavender, Cinnamon, Bourbon, Ginger, Vanilla, Lemon, Blueberry) combine honey with natural flavor extracts—no artificial ingredients. Original flavor is pure honey. They get stirred into tea, given to kids at weddings, opened at stoplights.
